What Does it Mean to be Indian?

What Does it Mean to be Indian? An Initiative of Shree Jumani Foundation, Ahmedabad

Slide

This animation visualises multiple wealths
as against a single wealth for a holistic
conceptualisation of life and for
understanding our relationship
with the universe.

Intellectual, emotional, ecological,
spiritual, and material wealth are
five types of wealth depicted
here as concentric circles,
as per the colour code key
given below. The five colours
of the five concentric circles
represent the five different
types of wealths listed here.

Our intellectual wealth
enables us to understand
and/or generate the
remaining four types of wealths.

This animation first shows
the interaction of these different
types of wealths and their
polarisation into Spiritual Values
and Material Values.
The Spiritual Values subsume
intellectual, emotional, ecological
and spiritual wealths while the
Material Values subsume
intellectual and material wealth.
The continuous interplay between
the Spiritual Values and
Material Values
can be seen in the next stage of
the animation. The visualisation
depicts a variety of permutations
and combinations in an endless
cycle of time – ananta – to show
the constant churning of these
two sets of values as
leader and follower.
